About Us
Medicinal Music Makers (m^3) is a USC recognized student organization (RSO) founded in August 2017 and works to provide a better quality of life for patients, their families, and the staff at Keck Hospital of USC. We work closely with the Keck Hospital staff of the Patient Experience team to make sure that we can create a positive environment! There, musicians perform and spread the joy of music to patients! We welcome anyone who is dedicated to volunteering and have a passion for music. Our organization is supported by our faculty advisor, Professor Antoinette Perry (Keyboard Studies, USC Thornton School of Music) as well as our founder, Valerie Narumi (USC '21 & '23).
We accept individuals with or without a background in music.
Currently, our primary initiative is curating concerts at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, where we aim to organize a few concerts each academic year. We strive to connect with the Keck community through celebrating the joys of music.
